Hey peeples! Today I'm writing about a book I recently read called Staying Fat for Sarah Byrnes. I really liked this book for two reasons: it had an excellent storyline and was well-written, and it had a lot to do with swimming, my favorite sport. The story was about this eighteen year old boy, Eric, and his best friend Sarah Byrnes. Originally they became friends as both outcasts of society, due to Eric's immense fat and Sarah's extreme burn scars on her face. As Eric becomes more and more fit due to his intense swimming ( 100 100's on 1:02! OMG!!!!) he worries that Sarah and he will drift apart due to his loss of fat. Sarah's father is discovered to be an extremely cruel child abuser and finally is apprehended through the teamwork of Sarah, Eric, and their teacher, Mrs. Lemry.
In total, I would give this book 4 1/2 stars, because it was really good, but it could have been a little longer.

Hey everybody! I am blogging from Windows 7!!! woot! Don't you think 'woot' sounds a little owlish? Personally I can totally imagine an owl sitting in a tree going Woot! Woot! Speaking of owls, do you think that the Guardians of Ga'hoole movie will be good? I hope it will, since I want to go see it. The only problemo I have with it is that it does not seem to have any funny parts in it. Well....we'll see about how it goes.
Hey everybody, as you all know, I have not posted for three days. Sorry, I have just been really busy. Today ma famille et moi went to see Toy Story three. Even though it has been out for like two months, we still didn't bother to see it. We were blown away. It started with this funny and symbolic short film called Day and Night, which was pretty darn awesome, plus it was followed by one heck of a movie. To tell you the truth, I really wasn't expecting much, but the story was very enjoyable, funny and touching at the same time. If you haven't seen it yet, go see it tomorrow, since it's LABOR DAY! WAHOO"S FISH TACO! ( way cooler than woohoo right!)
